That’s exactly what happened at Dane and Abi’s wedding in Leicester, where love, spells, and a touch of Hogwarts spirit brought everything to life. A Magical Start at St Margarets Church
The day began the ceremony at St Margaret's Church, Leicester. This historic and beautiful church, with its beautiful architecture and timeless atmosphere, provided the perfect backdrop for Dane and Abi’s vows. As the bells rang out, guests eagerly awaited the bride's arrival, stepping into the church that almost felt like stepping into Hogwarts itself.

The ceremony itself was heartfelt, filled with meaningful moments and magical touches. After the ceremony the bells rung out, car horns beeped and family & friends gathered to throw confetti at the newly weds to celebrate. Several group shots later and a few couple shots, Dane drove his beloved in his Jaguar to the reception at The Hilton Hotel Leicester
Hogwarts in Leicester - Hilton Hotel Leicester
The magic continued at the Hilton Leicester, where Dane and Abi had transformed the venue into a Harry Potter-inspired wonderland. The top table was adorned with a Harry Potter themed ice-sculpture. Each table was draped with house banners, and each guest was seated at a table corresponding to one of the four houses—Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, or Slytherin.

Dane & Abi took some time out with their bridesmaids and groomsmen to visit to a little nature reserve next to the hotel where, not only did we capture some fabulous images, they also took the time to practice their first dance.
A Night to Remember
All that practice paid off as Dane & Abi wowed their guests with a Hogwart themed Viennese Waltz, with a few guest also having a quick waltz round the dance floor including a couple of photographers. What followed, can only be akin to a scene from an episode of Strictly Come Dancing.
Dane and Abi’s wedding was a celebration not only of their love for each other but also of their shared love for the Harry Potter series. It was a day filled with personal touches, magical details, and a sense of whimsy that made everyone feel like they were part of something truly extraordinary.
