Yorkshire wedding photographer - Zoe Morse FAQ
1. What is your photography style?
I work with an 80/20 approach: 80% of the day is spent capturing the natural, candid moments of your wedding as they unfold. The remaining 20% involves what I like to call ‘posed with a relaxed twist’—just enough direction to bring out your best without it ever feeling forced. I truly believe that if you feel comfortable around your Leeds wedding photographer, it shows—whether the photo is candid or posed. And let’s be honest, after all the thought (and pennies!) that go into your outfits, it’s only right they’re styled and photographed at their very best.
Throughout your day, I like to think of myself as a bit swan-like: calm and unobtrusive on the surface, while working tirelessly behind the scenes, often in all weathers, to make sure no detail is missed. My editing style is classic with a touch of timeless elegance. I want your photos and your album to look just as beautiful years from now, as they do the first time you see them.
2. What Packages do you offer?
My packages are designed to suit every need, starting from as little as £350 (ceremony only). Please follow this link for details of Weddings packages. Can’t find what you’re looking for? Please use the contact form so I can create a more bespoke package.
3. How many images do you deliver?
If you're wanting 1000's of unedited/unprocessed images then I am not the photographer for you, I am very much a quality over quantity kind of girl as I hand edit each gallery specific to the vibes of the wedding and I edit each image to a high standard. Whilst I will endeavour to capture as much of your day as is possible, only the best images will be presented and undertake post-processing/editing as necessary.
4. How many photographers will be present on our wedding day?
My top packages include an assistant photographer to capture candids, highlights for a reel and to assist with the logistics of the day. If you opt for a highlight video/reel and you would also like a second photographer to capture angles I can’t quite reach (even after a Pilates class) or you would like groom prep cover at a different location to the venue, this can be arranged at an extra charge.
5. What areas do you cover?
I'm a Yorkshire wedding photographer so I cover the whole of Yorkshire and beyond but often venture further afield. I have a smaller travel kit for headshot work that requires me to use public transport and I have access to studio space in Elland, Huddersfield.
6. Can we provide a shot list, or do you prefer to work spontaneously?
I work best when I go with the flow of your day and hopefully, you have a confidence in my artistic ability and style prior to your day. However, I am more than happy for you to send me over images you’ve seen that you like prior to your wedding. Please understand though that as every wedding/event is unique and often involves things out of my control, I cannot guarantee any of these shots on the day.
7. How do you handle family and group photos?
Several weeks before your wedding/event I will ask you to provide me with a list of all group shots required. I will also ask you to nominate a helper who can assist me with recognising people and bringing people together.
8. What is your cancellation and refund policy?
At the time of booking, you will receive a contract which will outline my cancellation and refund policy and provide you with other information about our agreement. Once the contract is signed and the deposit is paid, then your date will be blocked out in my diary and no other bookings will be made.
9. Can we meet in person before booking?
Most definitely as I think it is just as important to ensure a good rapport with your photographer as it is to like their images. This can be done either in person or on teams.
