1. What is your photography style?

• I work in a 80/20 format in that 80% of the day is capturing the candid moments of your wedding as and when they occur. The other 20% is what I like to call posed but with a relaxed attitude. I'm a strong believer in that if you feel comfortable around your photographer then this will show in the photo's whether they are posed or candid and lets be honest,  its always nice to get those outfits you've spent all those pennies on, styled to look their best.  The way I work throughout your day is what I like to refer to as being swan like in many ways. On the surface I appear very calm but you’ll often find my webbed feet, from working in all weathers, are paddling away beneath at a rate of knots ensuring every detail if your day is captured. My editing style is classic and has a timeless elegance to it. I want your images/album to look as beautiful in years to come as they did the day you first viewed them.

2. What packages do you offer, and what is included?

• My packages are designed to suit every need. Please follow these links for WeddingsHeadshots or Celebrations/events. Can’t find what you’re looking for? Please use the contact form so I can create a more bespoke package.

3. How many photographers will be present on our wedding day?

• I tend to work as a solo photographer, but I often bring an assistant with me to assist with the logistics of the day. If you require a second photographer to capture angles I can’t quite reach (even after a Pilates class) this can be arranged at an extra charge.

4. What areas do you cover?

• I cover the whole of Yorkshire and beyond. I have a smaller travel kit for headshot work that requires me to use public transport and I have access to studio space in Elland, Huddersfield. Please note, extra travel expenses may be incurred outside of Yorkshire.

5. Can we provide a shot list, or do you prefer to work spontaneously?

• I work best when I go with the flow of your day and hopefully, you have a confidence in my artistic ability and style prior to your day. However, I am more than happy for you to send me over images you’ve seen that you like prior to your wedding/event/headshot. Please understand though that as every wedding/event is unique and often involves things out of my control, I cannot guarantee these shots on the day.

6. How do you handle family and group photos?

• Several weeks before your wedding/event I will ask you to provide me with a list of all group shots required. I will also ask you to nominate a helper who can assist me with recognising people and bringing people together.

13. What is your cancellation and refund policy?

• At the time of booking, you will receive a contract which will outline my cancellation and refund policy and provide you with other information about our agreement. Once the contract is signed and the deposit is paid, then your date will be blocked out in my diary and no other bookings will be made.

14. Can we meet in person before booking?

• Most definitely as I think it is just as important to ensure a good rapport with your photographer as it is to like their images. This can be done either in person or on zoom.
