This is usually the part where you’d expect me to talk about my passion for photography and how much I love it so much, I’d do it for free. Now I do love my job and I would probably do it for free but unfortunately, I also love buying shoes, lots of shoes, shoes in every colour.....

In the rare moments I’m without my camera or buying shoes you’ll find me either in a pilates class or hiking with my husband of many, many years Ant, my two gorgeous boys Evan and Oscar and my bonkers boxer dog, Roxy.

I also love to dance and I’m usually the first onto the dancefloor, often at a wedding I’m photographing. Thanks to a love of Strictly Come Dancing, you’ll often find me in the passionate hold of an Argentine tango or being lead round the dancefloor doing a foxtrot. This type of dancing also requires you to buy shoes, lots of shoes. There's Latin shoes, ballroom shoes, training shoes and obviously there's shoes to walk to the ballroom in.

Now here comes the boring bit. I started my photography career over 10 years ago after several years in the corporate world and whilst taking a break to raise my family. I gained a 2-year qualification at a Leeds college, in photography and digital processing and went on to gain a diploma in photography a few years later. I have invested lots of time into my skill and I've been trained and had the amazing chance to shadow/second shoot for some of the best Wedding photographers Yorkshire has to offer. I have also been a regular photographer at several tots’ groups across Wakefield & Leeds, at local schools and recently at some special needs settings over in Manchester and Liverpool, where I photographed some of the biggest smiles I have ever seen. I am fully insured including liability insurance and professional indemnity and,  I am also a member of The Guild of Photographers.
