Emily and Jack’s Leeds Love Story – From “Yes” to “I Do”
There’s something truly special about a Yorkshire wedding, a mix of big smiles, a touch of tradition, and a good dose of down-to-earth fun. And that’s exactly what Emily & Jack’s big day on 9th August was all about.
The day kicked off right in the heart of Leeds at the Civic Hall. With its grand steps and golden owls looking on, it’s a fabulous place to say “I do.” Guests gathered in the sunshine (yes, Yorkshire delivered the weather for once albeit with quite a heavy dose of wind!) as Emily arrived looking absolutely radiant.
Inside, the ceremony was everything you’d hope for, a few happy tears, plenty of laughter, and that magical moment when Jack finally got to call Emily his wife.
A trip to Roundhay Park
Now, every couple has “their spot,” and for Emily & Jack it’s Roundhay Park. It’s where Jack proposed, so of course it had to be part of their wedding day too. After the ceremony, we headed there for photos, and what a setting it was, perfect for any Leeds wedding photographer.
From the lakeside to the folly, Roundhay looked its best. It was an absolute privilege to join Emily & Jack at their favourite place and hear the story of how they met and why they love Roundhay Park so much.
There’s something wonderfully Yorkshire about keeping things real, no fuss, just genuine joy. Emily & Jack’s wedding had all of that in spades. A grand Leeds Civic Hall ceremony, a stroll through Roundhay where it all began, and enough smiles to last a lifetime.
Here’s to many more adventures for these two, and plenty more reasons to keep coming back to their favourite Leeds spot.
