Megan & Will's Holdsworth House wedding in Halifax was one of those glorious Yorkshire wedding days where everything came together perfectly. Blue skies, sunshine, a relaxed atmosphere and a beautiful barn ceremony made it an absolute joy to photograph.

These two tied the knot in the beautiful barn at Holdsworth House in Halifax, and honestly, I don't think they could've picked a better day if they'd tried. Blue skies, sunshine from start to finish, and a venue looking its absolute best.
From the minute I arrived, the whole place had such a relaxed feel. No rushing about. No unnecessary fuss. Just two people buzzing to get married, surrounded by their favourite humans. Exactly how a wedding should be.
The ceremony took place in the stunning barn at Holdsworth House, and it couldn't have suited Megan and Will more. Holdsworth House is one of my favourite spaces to photograph because it has loads of character while still feeling really intimate.
There were tears, nervous giggles and a few laughs before they'd even made it back up the aisle as husband and wife. Once that was done, everyone piled outside into the sunshine and the celebrations properly began.
And let's be honest, that's when Yorkshire weddings really come into their own.
Pink, Prosecco & Plenty of Laughs
If you know Megan, you'll know one thing...
She loves pink.
So it was only right that it featured throughout the day. From the flowers to the finer details, the soft pink colour palette looked gorgeous against the rustic backdrop of the barn and the gardens at Holdsworth House. It felt elegant without trying too hard, and it suited the whole day perfectly.
With the sun shining, guests spent the afternoon outside catching up over a pint, a glass of fizz or whatever happened to be nearest.
Those are always my favourite weddings to photograph. The ones where people forget the camera is there because they're too busy enjoying themselves.
What I loved most about Megan and Will's wedding wasn't just how beautiful everything looked.
It was how it felt.
Nobody was worrying about timelines. Nobody was stressing over the little things. They were just soaking it all in, spending time with family and friends, having a laugh and making memories that actually matter.
The speeches had everyone bouncing between happy tears and belly laughs, and by the time the evening rolled around, the dance floor was exactly where it should be... absolutely packed.
Shoes came off. Ties were loosened. The drinks kept flowing. Safe to say nobody wanted the night to end.
