Sarah & Jamie - York Registry Office

On a sunny August day in the beautiful city of York, Sarah & Jamie decided that after 12 years together, it was time to finally tie the knot.  Their journey as a married couple began with a heartfelt ceremony at York Registry Office, where Sarah was given away by her handsome son, Harry.  The ceremony was full of so much love and laughter and there were also with a few tears thrown into the mix.

After the ceremony, we moved to the charming, intimate garden behind York Registry Office—the perfect spot for guests to shower the couple in confetti and capture beautiful photos with family and friends. From there, Sarah, Jamie, and their guests strolled along York’s cobbled streets to the pub, pausing just once to be serenaded by the local Ice Cream lady.

The chosen pub was The Minster Inn, where the couple took a moment to relax—though not before they each poured a pint or two for their guests. After some celebratory shots, we made our way to Museum Gardens for more photos, only stopping briefly for the Police congratulate the happy couple.

Sarah and Jamie opted for my hourly package (see wedding packages), so my time with them was brief but meaningful but they still received over 300 edited images. It was a true pleasure to be part of their special day, and I’m always deeply grateful to each couple for allowing me to share in such memorable moments
