Why Confetti Photos Are One of My Favourite Parts of a Wedding Day....
The best confetti photos happen when people really go for it. None of this politely dropping three petals at your feet. Grab a handful and launch it like you're trying to win a gold medal. Trust me, your photos will thank you for it.
I also love that it's one of the first moments after the ceremony where it all starts to sink in. You're married. The nerves have gone. Your favourite people on this earth, are all around you. What's not to smile about?
And it's not just confetti. If your venue doesn't allow it, bubbles work too. Having a winter wedding or a later ceremony? Get the sparklers out. Anything that gets people involved and creates a bit of atmosphere makes for great photos.
Bigger confetti looks better in photos than tiny bits & More is more. Buy extra.
Ask your guests to throw it up rather than straight at your face.
Make sure it's venue-approved and biodegradable.
Most importantly, enjoy it. Don't rush through. Walk slowly soak it all in.
It will give you some of the happiest photos from your entire wedding day.
